Faces and eyes. C&C please!

A couple of photos taken while messing around on my old digital camera. I dont really know anything about photography or camera technique, and have never really taken any "photographic" photos before (as opposed to just photos of friends on holiday using a disposable camera etc) so any advice on how to make my photos look better would be appreciated!

I think they're all very good, I wouldn't change anything... great contrast in them.

Not a massive fan of the last one, it's a bit straightforward after the others, my favourite is the second, which I think is a cracking shot.

To have the images showing you need to use the [/NOPARSE] will get me the result below. You need to just get the upload location and dump it between the tags. You might want to just post a thumbnail and have that linked to the large version or maybe get a flickr account which will give you a few size options which is useful.
